Painting painting painting!!!

This year has been steeped in collaging with paper and watercolors....I even grow some of my own dyes in Kauai. The butterfly flower and tumeric add a richness to my palette that brings excitement and nuance to the images that come to life. Recently I traveled to Thailand and glean images of elephants and culture and share in artistic styles such as batik and carving. A visit to Orcas Island in Washington inspires me with a new technique of watercolor painting with a beautiful talented woman there. Thank you and keep in touch!
